Jansen's Perspective

If you asked Jansen back in Highschool what she thought of Danny, she would have said, “I could marry him, he could be the one!” Jansen met Danny as a freshman in Highschool, and they became instant friends! Jansen had always had a crush on Danny, and as time continued he was persistent that he didn’t want that kind of commitment even though he seemed to be crushing on her too. So as any girl would, she moved on and moved away—sometime later after experiencing more love, and more loss then anyone could imagine, it was nice for Jansen to visit for the holidays and enjoy the company and support of old friends. It was no surprise how easy it was to fall back into the same friendship they once had, as they say, “No matter the time apart, best friends can pick up right where they left off.” What was a shock was how quickly she fell in love.

Danny

Danny's Perspective

When Danny first met Jansen he was immediately infatuated with this outgoing, beautiful, bubbly, fun sized girl. He knew that he wanted to spend as much time as possible with her. As young boys in high school are though he had eyes for every girl, and unfortunately didn’t realize the greatness right in front of him. As time passed they still kept in contact off and on, and Danny was reminded of Jansen’s spark. Danny will never forget a road trip Jansen was taking from Colorado to California, she made it a point to stop at the service station he worked at on they way. He recalls how beautiful she still was and how she hadn’t changed at all from the first day they met. He said, “Denver looks good on you. You are glowing.” This still wasn’t their time, as she had other things in mind. But a few years later, and a trip back home over the holidays was all it took for the two to rekindle the fire that wanted to burn and they found it easy to fall in love.

Our Love Story

Jansen and Danny met in high school and immediately hit it off, having many of the same interests it was easy for friendship to bloom. As they grew up, they got busy, Jansen went to away to college and Danny started working full time. Then one visit home for the holidays Jansen and Danny remembered how much fun they used to have together, they spent the whole week together, going to Jazz games, Christmas shopping, and attending ugly sweater parties. Three months later Danny decided to move to Denver. Jansen and Danny dated for 3 years before getting engaged at Harry Potter World in Universal Studios, Orlando Florida. Jansen and Danny say making love last is easy with your best friend. They have enjoyed travel, video games, fantasy, comics, and Raising fur babies together and are excited to continue their adventure of Happily Ever After on September 30, 2017.

Amanda Merry

Amanda is Jansen’s best friend! They met in 7th grade, and have been basically inseparable ever since. It is thanks to Amanda (and Zach) that Jansen and Danny were introduced. The rules go out the window as soon as these two are in the same room, you can expect, loud, excitable, chaos to follow. Together they may cause trouble, but it is never a dull moment!

Best Man

Zach Taylor

Zach has been Danny’s best friend since 9th grade all it took was a dirty song and these two were best buds. Lucky for Danny, Zach asked Amanda (the maid of honor) to the Homecoming dance Sophomore year, leading the way to Jansen and Danny meeting. Even though states have divided them it only takes a few minutes of hanging out to get back to the good ole days.

Friend of the Groom

Tom and Danny met while working together at a service station. They connected through common interests, and enjoyed going out for a beer. Tom is very artsy and a talented photographer. He has been a great friend for many years.

Friend of the Bride

Dan is one of Jansen’s best friends in Denver. He is always fun to spend time with and is a great conservationist. Dan is a helpful and fun loving guy. Dan is always coming up with funny scenarios and giving Rampage and Jansen inside jokes for days!

Nick Carmack
Friend of the Bride

Nick Carmack is one of Jansen’s best friends from High School. They have always shared a close friendship based on intelligent conversation, and common interests. They are constantly teaching each other, and challenging the others view point. Jansen can always count on learning something new from the time she enjoys with Nick. He holds such a high place in her heart.

Brandon Vergara
Friend of the Groom

Brandon is a friend the couple met online gaming. Brandon has grown so close to the couple over the years he considered family. The couple has been to visit multiple times, and just adores Brandon, his wife (Jessica) and their two adorable boys. Brandon is considered the voice of reason by both Danny and Jansen confiding in him any of their troubles.

Rampage is Jansen’s best friend from Denver. He is a buddy in all that she does, whether it is a late night philosophical chat, or hanging out for breakfast. Ryan always provides great company and wonderful friendship.

Roger Bielz
Friend of the Bride

Roger is one of the Jansen’s closest and most cherished friends. Roger comes off rough around the edges, but is someone you can always count on! Roger stepped up to befriend Jansen in one of her darkest times, they have been very close ever since!

Brett is a friend the couple met playing video games online. Brett has been present virtually through the couples entire relationship, and was even at Universal Studios to record their engagement! Through Brett’s silly humor and wit a lifelong friendship was forged.

Gordon Bedell
Friend of the Bride

Gordon is one Jansen’s greatest friends. He is always up for a night out and is willing to talk about anything on the bride’s mind. He is a huge support to Jansen and wonderful company! Going out with Gordon is some of the best afternoon stress relief!

Reegan Young
Sister of the Bride

Reegan is Jansen’s older sister, closest in age of all the siblings. Reegan and Jansen grew up with the same friends (because Jansen would follow them everywhere even though they hated it). Reegan has always looked after the bride and protected her.

Laura is Jansen’s oldest sister. These two have always had a very close bond, from Laura helping to care for baby Jansen to growing up and talking on the phone for 8 hours straight as they run errands, clean house, and finish daily tasks. Laura is Jansen’s Rock, she is always there when Jansen needs something, and Jansen can always find a friend and support in her.

Angela has been a best friend of the bride for many years, they met in high school, and have always enjoyed each other’s company. They have a relationship that is constantly teaching each other something. Angela has been with Jansen on some of her hardest days, showing constant love and support.

What is better than a blood sister? A sister in law! These are the sisters you get to chose to love, Carlee is the little sister Jansen always wanted. She is fun, and understanding, they have the same taste is basically everything, and always enjoy just hanging out and grabbing drinks together.

If Jansen had a little sister growing up, it was Anna (and Tessa). Annalese was Jansen’s absolute best friend growing up, they lived just down the street from each other, and everyday Jansen would pack up all her things in a pillowcase and drag it to Annalese’s house till her dad would walk her home every night. They played like best friends and fought like sisters. Jansen shares a bond with this family that has shaped the way she lives now.

Samie and Jansen went to elementary, Jr. High, and High school together, they kept in contact through the college years, and have always supported each other. Sometimes talking with a good friend is the only therapy you need, and this is the kind of support Jansen and Samie share.

Tessa is the younger sister of Annalese, so naturally, Jansen had the same relationship growing up. Tessa was always eager to play with Jansen as a kid, they share such a strong sisterly bond. Tessa always helped push an adventure, and was so loving, Tessa always made Jansen feel loved and like part of the family. Some of Jansen’s best childhood memories include Tessa and Annalese.

Ryan is Danny’s oldest brother and someone he has always looked up too. He joined the military when Danny was just a teen, one of Danny’s favorite trips is when he visited him in Seattle. It meant a lot as a 16 year old getting a tour by his older brother. He is caring and always willing to help with whatever is needed.

An old friend of Danny’s, Chance is always cheery and an absolute joy to be around. Chance and Nate have been friends since the dawn of time and Danny was lucky enough to join in on the amazing friendship these two created. Chance is a caring friend and a great person. Anyone would be lucky to call him a friend

Brad is Danny’s second older brother. They are 2 years apart and did a whole lot of growing up together. Being so close in age they shared friends toys and anything else. Brad is stubborn and doesn’t show his affection very well, but we know he means well and that he loves them both dearly. He is now a single father so ladies line up.

This guy is hard to explain other than “he’s just Nelson”. Nelson is an old high school friend that Danny will cherish. He is a blast to be around and always good for a laugh. He currently works in Wyoming on and off so time spent is scarce. However, when he does come to town, expect a hug and a beer from this guy.

Nate is one of Danny’s closest and dearest friends. He can always count on him for anything whether Danny is need of a laugh or a hug. This guy is now a proud father of four crazy girls (just like their dad) but beautiful like their mother ages 2-9. This guy was a huge part of Danny’s childhood and can say that he has had a great effect on his life.

Danny and Kyle met when Danny worked with Kyle’s older brother Tom. They quickly forged a great friendship through common interests of beer and video games. Kyle is a solid guy and a great friend. Kyle helped Danny kickstart his career in the Utah solar industry.
